The Eaton Fire ignited on January 7th near Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive above Altadena. The fire has grown to more than 14,000 acres and destroyed or damaged an estimated 7,000 structures. Five people have reportedly perished in the fire, and several residents and firefighters have sustained significant injuries. At least 179,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate across LA county as several wildfires continue to burn.

Powerful Santa Ana winds have fueled the fire’s spread, complicating containment efforts. Assessments of the affected areas remain ongoing as firefighters work tirelessly to contain the blaze.
